All of our soaps have a shelf life of 3 years from the date of production while unopened. After soap has been opened, we recommend using it within 6 months. We've started to include the “period after opening” symbol on some of our packaging. Soaps are incredibly long-lasting, but, bars will dry-out and crack with age in certain conditions. Most all soaps are engineered for 3 years of shelf life. It's the industry standard only because we don't want the cost associated with longer stability testing. When stored in cool/dry/enclosed conditions soap will last decades without any loss of performance. Our 'official' company line is 3 years from the date of manufacture.
Our cream and gel should be used within 12 months of opening. Each cream is marked with an expiration date.
